Why are you running for prosecutor?
I’m running to continue serving the community that raised me with hard work, integrity, and results. I want to lead an office that stands with victims, ensures fairness, and keeps Miami County safe. As Prosecutor, I will remain directly involved in the most serious cases, because I believe leadership means showing up and doing the work alongside my team.
What experience do you bring to the role?
I came back to Miami County as a Prosecutor in 2017 after working in Marion County. I’ve handled thousands of cases. I’ve taken complex cases to trial including murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery, OVWI, auto-theft, child victim cases and prison cases. I’ve led our office through major efficiency and modernization improvements.
How do you approach justice?
Justice isn’t just about convictions, it’s about doing the right thing. Sometimes that means pursuing tough cases to trial, other times it means making ethical decisions to dismiss or resolve a case appropriately. My office prioritizes fairness, integrity, and results.
What are your top priorities if elected?
Continue modernizing the office, supporting victims, maintaining high ethical standards, fighting for community safety, and ensuring our team works together efficiently to deliver justice for Miami County. I’ll be in the courtroom, working the hardest cases and standing beside victims who deserve justice, ensuring that experience and accountability lead from the front.
How will you work with victims and the community?
We put victims first, ensuring they are informed, supported, and treated with dignity. Our office also engages with the community to improve public safety, provide education, and maintain trust in the justice system.
